Save Water... Drink Wine!

To be continued...

Someone Like you- ADELE

Love this song! So relaxing just need some wine!

Cardio Barre

I've been trying to get back in shape. It's literally been 5 years since I've been to the gym. So I decided to try "Cardio Barre" not even knowing what it was. I started out going to an advanced class (Big mistake!), I have no idea what I was thinking! Well the class was like a dance class. It mimics ballet but is an exercise class. We did plies and everything just like a ballerina would. The difference is that  you hold onto a bar for balance. It was art! These moves were fantastic. I don't think I have ever been so sore in my life. The more classes I take, the more I will learn the graceful ballerina moves and the more in shape I will be. I just need a tutu now.

THOR: God of Thunder

Me and my hubby (to be) decided to go check out the movies. We heard good reviews about THOR so we decided to go watch it, and it was totally worth it! I absolutely loved it, and its been a while since I've seen a good movie so I was very happy and have been thinking about the movie all day. I never really watch TV or movies because I simply don't have time for it. Life has been so hectic with school and planning a wedding, AND having a social life- that its literally been months since I've really seen anything on TV. The only thing that's ever on in my house is the Sopranos, which I seriously can't stand. My fiance has been obsessed and has literally orderer every single season from Netflix. I personally believe my fiance loves the show so much because the main character's name is Tony (which is my fiance's name). Anyways, back to THOR- so we saw it in 3D and it literally felt like we were there. The love story really moved me and I could really relate to it. I don't want to ruin the movie but Natalie Portman and THOR fall in-love but are stuck in different worlds unable to reach one another. I can certainly relate to feeling this way when my fiance (who is in the military) is on deployment and leaves me for months at a time. Some of the places he travels to don't even have internet or phone service so we spend days not being able to communicate. I just thought it was an interesting form of mimesis to always add a love story where people can actually relate to the actors. I feel like movies which are most highly rated are ones which people can emotionally relate to, which explains why almost every movie has some sort of love story (even guy movies!). I thought this was an interesting point. GO SEE IT! :)

How Romantic........NOT!

I finally got the photos back from my wedding photographer. She shot some pictures of my and my fiance in the poppy flower fields in Lancaster a couple of weeks ago. Well the photos looked completely different from what was really going on that day. They came out great! This is a good thing, no I'm not complaining. I just thought it was amazing how a photographer captures only good moments. While we were shooting there were 80 mile per hour winds and it was so uncomfortable, and my dress was blowing up and my hair was going everywhere. Definitely not ideal weather conditions. Not to mention that I had super high expectations to see fields of poppies, when in reality there were barely any flowers blooming. I was so disappointed after driving two hours and realizing it was a complete waste of time. Well anyways apparently our photographer captured pure romance in the shots, and she might have even tweaked the photos to show more flowers then there really was. Kinda crazy! She totally imitated what we wanted to "pretend" to have experienced, a beautiful spring day in the poppy fields with the love my life. How ironic, all I wanted to do was get in the car and drive home!
